COVID-19 Updates



May 20, 2020:
Church will resume this Sunday, May 24th. Pews will be marked off to maintain social distancing. This will provide the distance recommended for everyone's safety. Hand sanitizer will be available. We will have a modified communion. We ask that if you are not feeling well, please do not attend service.

May 5, 2020:
Out of concern for our members, worship services remain suspended. We are looking at suggested reopening checklist's provided by Texas District LCMS and Texas Health and Human Services. Pastor Raddatz continues to provide a weekly messages posted on the website and sent via email. Thank you to our members for continuing to send your offerings to the church or tithing electronically. We look forward to re-opening and sharing the Gospel as a family again.

April 4, 2020:
Worship services at Mount Olive continue to be suspended while we follow the CDC guidlines. In the meantime, weekly messages from Pastor Raddatz have been posted on the website and sent via email. Please reach out to each other during this time of uncertainty and call the office if you have any questions/concerns. We will continue to monitor guidlines and will notify everyone when we can return for worship service.

March 19, 2020:
Due to the COVID-19 Texas state executive order, we have suspended worship services until further notice. The current order is effective through April 3, 2020. It is our goal to resume service on Palm Sunday (April 5, 2020). We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates via website, phone, and email. Be safe and God bless.

March 16, 2020:
Early Childhood Education Program Notice:
First and foremost, the safety of your children, families and staff are of the upmost importance to us. We must comply with all protocols and procedures regarding the Covid-19. No parents are allowed in the building. You must sign in your children outside the building. Upon arrival, temperatures of all children entering will be taken. Anything over 100.4 the child will not be allowed to be admitted. If they have fever, sore throat or coughing they will also not be allowed to stay.
If you have travelled internationally in the past 14 days, please let us know.
All classrooms have been sanitized and cleaned. Our teachers do an amazing job with this every day. We are taking every precaution to ensure safety for your child. Thank you for your cooperation and we will continue to update you as we are updated. Please continue to check your email and phone texts from remind as things could progress daily.
